Frank Federico  was elected the Pastel Society of America’s Hall of Fame Honoree in 2012. He has attained the honorable level of signature membership of numerous prestigious art societies including Master Pastellist Pastel Society of America, National Watercolor Society, Pastel Society of Painters on Cape Cod and Degas Pastel Society, to name a few.


Federico conducts workshops domestically and abroad.  He teaches a regular art class at West Hartford Art League.  His paintings have been exhibited in New Orleans, LA, Florida, California, New Mexico, New England, Brunei, Stockholm and Tokyo, in group and solo exhibitions.


His work is currently represented by three galleries: Elaine Beckwith Gallery in Jamaica,VT., PS Gallery in Litchfield CT, Gregory James Gallery in New Milford CT. He is represented in the PSA Legacy Collection of the Butler Museum in Youngston, Ohio. Federico considers himself to be a colorist and a contemporary impressionist.
